Residential Project - Ayr Street, Auckland

With its bold linear design and amazing views out to Mt Hobson, this has been an exciting project to be involved in. MPM has been working on this residential home since May 2020. It has been both a test of our product knowledge and skill set. Proudly, we aced both tests!

Due to the home’s design, we had to use a range of waterproofing products.

We installed Allco’s Voltex membrane under the concrete slab. Voltex has self-sealing properties that allow it to protect against the effects of ground movement or shrinkage.

We applied Allco’s Swelltite to the home’s concrete walls; this product, once touched by water, begins to swell, preventing any water from seeping through cracks into the house.

We used Proclima’s Adhero Extasana wrap around the house; this peel and stick product keeps the RAB board dry before it is covered.

Outcome

The owners of this impressive home can rest easy knowing that their asset benefits from the protection of some of the industry’s leading waterproofing products and that this protection will last for many years to come.
